The reason for the seperation is to allow for patch-packages. You can only
update complete packages. If everything would be in one single package, you
would have to download the whole thing, whereas with the split-up packages, it
is enough if you download only the updated package.

This is not an option since OOo doesn't install these libs system-wide (doesn't
add itself to /etc/ld.so.conf and doesn't install the libs to one of the default
dirs), but only for OOo itself. So "providing" the libs would not be correct.

core09 contains some mozilla-stuff, core10 contains the libfreetype. The
freetype-lib is only used/needed for the rare case that the system doesn't
provide one.

confirming issue.

soffice.bin needs libuno_sal.so.3 which is included in core05u
soffice.bin needs libvcl680li.so  which is included in core04u
And I guess it is services.sdb from core03u that is needed as well.

either core01 should require the "u" packages or the core0X packages should
require core0Xu
