To reproduce:
Either create two styles (let's say "point" and "section") with different
numbering styles ("points" and "sections") or create one style with specific
numbering style ("section") and assign the other one ("point") to outline
numbering.
Write paragraphs:
Point 1. //"point" style
Point 2. //"point" style
Point 3. //"point" style --> change into "section" style
Result:
Point 3. //"section" style
Result in 1.1.3 (and 1.1.4):
Section 1. //"section" style
So, the problem is that new paragraphs inherit numbering style of previous
paragraphs, even when they have their own style. It is necessary to switch
numbering off and back on to have proper numbering.
The issue was tested on 1.9.121 and confirmed on 1.9.122. See this forum
