Hi Marcello,

We discussed this ticket in triage today, bumped its severity to blocking and
assigned to Greg for fixing part of it. Greg has already merged his fix. We
will need to discuss on Monday again if someone from Josh's team can look at
other failures. I am adding Josh in case he or someone on his team can look at
this earlier. Greg has also identified the commit that are causing
policyservice failures.

I agree that we should hold off cutting the branch until these failures are
fixed.

Thanks,
Arvind

Subject: RE: ASACORE-2771 blocks 22 Standard Core tests
Importance: High

Sounds like this issue didn't get handled in triage today. My question is
giving this bug is blocking a significant number of SC tests, do we believe
that we can cut the RB16.04 branch tomorrow? My understanding is that these are
from the Core test plan (as opposed to the platform plans), which leads me to
believe that at least for the SC repository we should hold off on on cutting
the branch until we can actually run those tests (even if some fail).

Thoughts?

Subject: ASACORE-2771 blocks 22 Standard Core tests

Marcello,

Currently the core/test is failing to build via SCONS, I logged this issue as
ASACORE-2771.
One of the tools that cannot be built is policyService, which prevents us from
running PolicyDB test cases AJCORE-69 through AJCORE-90 (22 total).

The jira severity is currently Major, should I bump this up to Critical or
Blocking?
I just wanted to send out a heads-up about this and see if there was anything
else I should do regarding this issue.

Thanks,
Kris Schuff
