All, In the WG meeting yesterday we decided on the follow process related items with resepct to the 16.10 release. Committers please make sure you follow these rules/processes and let me know if you have any questions.
Master branch - Treat master as release branch from a commit merging perspective for all commits arriving 9/22 and later * The stuff that is currently in flight is all part of the release content. * As a reminder: this means that commits need an associated Jira ticket that has been assigned by the triage team to the release. - Cut release branch once Java and iOS changes have merged (i.e. the stuff in flight) * OK for the Secure Door samples for those platforms to be merged to release branch * Bug bar dates - October 3rd: Critical and Blocking only - October 13th: Blocking only - October 20th: Code freeze (Blocking bugs only with WG consensus, and Carrie signoff)
