Speaking of C. floridus, I'd like to know the best way to propagate it. Have one in the back yard - grown there from seed and been there a long time. When friends admire it, I usually dig up one of the many suckers for them. No one has been able to grow it on from one of the suckers. Lots of flowers on my bush but hard to find seeds. To many of us, one of the most enjoyable aspects of gardening is being able to share. Like "formosa", "floridus" confused me until I learned some Spanish. Anyway, would appreciate info about said Calycanthus. What our tremendous snowfall this year has done to this poor plant is sad indeed - just a lot of higgely piggly twigs anymore. Fran
