Oh Marcia, if only "dear little hedgehogs and badgers" were all we have to trouble us.... there are the rabbits, hares, voles, shrews, mice, red deer, roe deer, fallow deer and umpteen other munching chewing critters to torment the growers of this little kingdom.Then there is the British weather, which is as much a reason for UK gardeners to grow their plants in pots under glass as the desire to exhibit at shows that is usually put forward by North Americans .
