I'm suprised you can find any types that *are* still there. 0.9 is a *complete* redesign of ALSA. Very little of anything you learnt about ALSA from 0.5 applies here. There is some documentation that can generated from the source. For some reason, this documentation is not available online, and you will need to mess with DocBook to generate it.
