I'm not sure if this is intended behavior or not, but on my SBLive when I have
an app playing (xmms via ESD), and I go to play another file, (using sox or
aplay) The alsamixer (ncurses mixerthat came with ALSA) display gets
overwritten when the file plays. I know that doesn't make much sense, but I
run alsamixer, and scroll the window over to the EMU10k1 PCM sliders. If I
bring PCM2 down to 35 or so (value doesn't matter) and then play a wave file
with "play" (OSS app) or "aplay" (ALSA or course). The mixer sliders in the
window jump to 100%, the file plays, and then the sliders return to their
previous locations. From the way the window is drawn, it looks like an extra
set of sliders appeared, and the pre-existing ones got displaced to the right.

Is this normal behavior for ALSA 0.9beta9 on a SBLive? The wav file being
played was Unsigned 8 bit, Rate 44100 Hz, Mono if that matters. Stereo files
at 16 bits do the same.
