Thanks for your quick response.

I did some further investigation and found that sound is infact produced
- but only through the S/PDIF output which is why I missed this at
first.  This gives me a decent starting point to experiment with the APS
routing.

A few questions if I may:

1) Do we beleive that emu10k1.h contains all the definitions that would
be used by an EMU10K1 in an APS configuration, or might there be
omissions?

2) Do we know the function of the sole 'Altera' chip populting this
card?

4) Do you need the proper hardware to be able to help in the APS
effort?  (CC off-list.)
