At least not the Routing > ones. have you ever done a live mix on a huge console and some clueless folks ask the dreaded question "do you really know what each of these many knobs does ?" ? well, in the case of alsamixer, you can sit back, smile, and say, "i haven't the faintest idea." :-D i know kövesdi györgy (sp?) has written a nice sblive mixer with a more manageable routing matrix, but it seems he hasn't been updating his alsa tree since february, and it does not compile with the current state of things. > 2.
