My test is simple: run pmidi-1.5.4 (more then one at once) And start and stop them with kill -STOP/-CONT. After a while a get a kernel null dereference.. >From the trace: code 8b 03 89 44 24 18 3b 5c 24 10 75 90 f6 85 a0 00 00 00 04 74
kernel 2.4.16 alsa cvs from 2001-11-23 on a intel PII smp Why can we not have a oops log that works for all errors ? I could not get the error when playing to a hardware midi device. But I got it on the virmidi both the times. > Hi, > > So I tried to collect as much information as I can about this freezing > bug. > > First I am running with a Debian testing/unstable (Sid).
