Hi there, I just tried from CVS (within the last 20 mins) on my MSI KT266A chipset with VT8233 southbridge and have a few problems. I've compiled and modprobe'd all the req'd modules. The VT8233 detected properly, I've setup OSS emulation and /dev/dsp exists. I try playing an mp3 stream thru xmms and everything looks okay (no errors), but when I run any of the alsa apps (alsactl store, alsamixer) I get a "function snd_ctl_open failed for default: Sound protocol is not compatible" error .. I'm definitely using the right lib and utils from the cvs ..
