Hi folks!
After I read the documentation and some articles in mailing lists,
I've tryed to install the ALSA driver for my ymf724 following these steps:
1 ./configure --with-cards=ymfpci --with-debug=full
2 make install
3 ./snddevices
4 I've edited /etc/modules.conf:
---------------------------------
 #ALSA native device support
 alias char-major-116 snd
 options snd snd_major=116 snd_cards_limit=1
 alias snd-card-0 snd-card-ymfpci
 options snd-card-ymfpci snd_index=0 snd_id=card1

 #OSS/Free emulation
 alias char-major-14 soundcore
 alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
 alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
 alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
 alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
 alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss
 post-install snd-card-ymfpci alsactl restore
--------------------------------------

5 depmod -a(everything went ok)
6 modprobe snd-card-ymfpci
After that I've got this error message:

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/misc/snd-card-ymfpci.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/misc/snd-card-ymfpci.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.7-
10/misc/snd-card-ymfpci.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/misc/snd-card-ymfpci.o: insmod snd-card-ymfpci failed

/proc/modules looks that way:

nls_iso8859-1 2832 1 (autoclean)
nls_cp437 4352 1 (autoclean)

jbd 41056 2 [ext3]
So my question is what can I do tu make the driver work.
I'll apreciate any help.
