Hi, I'm using alsa as my sound layer and lastly bought a MD player/recorder. It uses a Xitel AN-1 usb interface to dowload music to the minidiscs. I could use it with the audio module from the oss but only the alsaplayer could reach the alsa driver. The kmixer an xmms could only see the usb device. The question now is How could a put the AN-1 under the control of alsa?
