I have a Soundblaster 16 PCI card. /proc/pci reports it as a Ensoniq CT5880 [AudioPCI] (rev 2). I have tried the es1371 driver and I do not seem to be able to get any sound out of this card. Programs seem to start (mixes, xmms) as well as the RH sound config. However none of these programs are making a peep. When the es1371 driver loads dmesg reports es1371: found chip, vendor id 0x1274 device id 0x5880 revision 0x02 es1371: found es1371 rev 2 at io 0xdc00 irq 5 es1371: features: joystick 0x0 ac97_codec: AC97 Audio codec, id: 0x8384:0x7609 (SigmaTel STAC9721/23) The speakers work, and I did have an AWE32 in there earlier that also worked. (it had a lot of hiss so I replaced it). Any suggestions?
