I hope, this is not off-topic on this mailing list.
With the envy24control tool I was able to listen to music which was
played on an external DAT player connnected to the digital input of my
Audiophile 2496 soundcard. Is it possible to record the digital input
e.g. to a wav- or aiff-file? If so, which software can I use?
I'm using the 0.9.0beta7 packages on a Mandrake 8.0 system.
