Hi,
I would like to get my M-Audio 2496 card up and running but it seems the
lest version of Envy24Control I can find, 0.0.4, only compiles with old
versions of Alsa. I get the following message when running ./configure...
configure: error: No linkable libasound was found.
Obviously, there is a libasound...
/usr/lib/libasound.la
/usr/lib/libasound.so
/usr/lib/libasound.so.2
/usr/lib/libasound.so.2.0.0
...and I even remembered to do an ldconf.
Is there any way I can hack the Envy24Control configure file to get it
to work wth the new Alsa library? Or, even better, is there a newer
version of Envy24Control I don't know about?
