Hello everyone,
I'm a RedHat 7.1 user and I have a VIA 8233 audio-chipset (integrated on a
Soltek motherboard).
Once VIA doesn't support this version of RedHat Linux, I tried to install
ALSA to put my sound-chipset working (for free, once OSS asks for money).
When I was following the suggested steps from ALSA readme file (or
install, I don't remember) I get a lot of errors when doing "make"
command. Unfortunately I don't have logs here with me but first it was
related with "version.h" directory, then because it could compile kernel
stuff (or something like).
Can you help me?

Thank you in advance,
