Emmm,

I dont see your point there. I _did_ work with the SuSE alsa (which was alsa 
0.5.x), and there I saw non of the mentioned flaws ! So, it should be 
possible to do it with 0.5.x, as it was proven by my orignal installation of 
alsa. I might try it with 0.9 too, if nobody has any hints on my problem, but 
thats not before weekend or so :)
