By your mail you may actually put a lot of people who'd really like to help
you in a peril, but I'll try to be gentle, eg. not start with the obvious
first counter question to such types of questions: "Did you switch it on?" :-)

1. You claim to be "new to linux".
2. You have engaged in installing Slackware. Successfully I suppose?
3. You have engaged in attempting to get two soundcards to work with it.
4. One is an ISA based soundcard.

I therefore wonder just how *new* you are? Your project is in no way for a
beginner.

Could you therefore please be more specific and tell us the following:

1. What have you attempted to do to make the card[s] work?
2. What information have you read before posting?
3. How have you presently set up your system?
4. How much of a beginner are you, ie. what do you know about Linux and/or UNIX?
5. Why did you choose Slackware and not some other distribution?

If you could answer these as thoroughly as possible, I and others would have a
much better chance of helping you.

Happy New Year :-)

Peter
