I have installed alsa 0.9.0beta10(a) driver-lib-utils on SBLive Platinum. No apparent errors during installation, which went fairly smoothly. But alsamixer does not appear to function properly. Also I cannot get sound with the avview TV application, which is what I am trying to do.
