Uhm, ALSA from SuSE 7.2 with kernel 2.2.14 from SuSE 6.4 ????? You aren't 
installing SuSE 7.2 ALSA rpm's on a SuSE 6.4 system are you?

Why don't you just follow the instructions in the INSTALL file in the 
alsa-driver directory.

Those are the kernel(AKA OSS/Free) drivers :) Maybe they just work?
