Not yet. I had hope, that 2.0.4 would work better in this regard than 2.0.3
which gave me that same errors with alsa beta7 then. But I think I will try
this ASAP and give my reports.

Actually that was what I thought and I did not expected this to work as
naively as I typed it.

The Audiophile only has two channels, although the ICE chip certainly
can do more.
