Shawn, you mention that you have a via chipset, but then you say you have an ensoniq ess-1371 add-in card right? I think your mention of the via chipset may have been a bit misleading. If it is true that your card is an es-1371 add-in, I recommend changing the slot it was in and moving the card as far away (physically) as possible from the video card.
