Hi, I saw similar problems reported before, but couldn't find a solution mentioned anywere, except for one suggestion that a newer version of ALSA is needed. Beta 12 is the newest released version, however, so I'm not sure what to do with that information...
Here's what I get when trying to run JACK or apla ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:781:(snd_pcm_hw_open) SNDRV_PCM_IOCTL_PVERSION failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device I'm running kernel 2.4.18 with the low-latency patch.
