Do you mean that the file version.h has to be "physically" exactly in : /lib/modules/2.4.18-6mdk/build/include/linux/version.h ? I can see a link from /lib/modules/2.4.18-6mdk/build -> ../../../usr/src/linux- 2.4.18-6mdk in which I see include/linux/version.h so I suppose the system should find the version.h after 2 symbolic links. (?) The kernel-source package is already installed by default by Mandrake-8.2. I have checked it with Software manager. Any idea ?
