Hi people,
I have a HP Pavillion 6535 that has an I810 chipset,
Ive compiled kernel 2.2.19pre8 and compiled 0.9rc1 alsa drivers libs and
utils
when i do a modprobe of the snd-inteli8x0 driver i get ..device not found
but after doing
dmesg i get:
PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin B of device 00:1f.5. Please try using
pci=biosirq
ALSA ../alsa-kernel/pci/intel8x0.c:1333: unable to grab IRQ 0
intel ICH soundcard not found or device busy
Ive gone through the BIOS of this computer the soundcard is either disabled
or enabled i dont see any IRQ given for it. cat/proc/pci shows the
soundcard without IRQ also.
info in proc/pci is as follows
Bus 0, device 31, function 5:
Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801AB AC'97 Audio (rev 2).
I/O at 0x1200 [0x12ff]
I/O at 0x1300 [0x133f]
No IRQ as shown ...
Could someone please shine a light on to what i need to do to get this card
up and working?
