Hi all,

I am running Debian Woody (glibc 2.2, kernel 2.4.17-rmap12f) and ALSA
0.9beta12 (base) and 0.5.12a (drivers). Everything installed fine. My
soundcard is as follows from lspci:
Multimedia audio controller: Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22[CrystalClear
SoundFusion Audio Accelerator]
I have the following ALSA modules loaded: snd-pcm-plugin
snd-card-cs461x snd-cs461x snd-pcm snd-timer snd-rawmidi
snd-seq-device snd-ac97-codec snd-mixer snd.
When I run /usr/bin/amixer-0.9 I get the following error:
amixer: Mixer attach default error: Sound protocol is not compatible
(the same happens when I try to use alsaplayer).
Here are my proc entries:
# cat cards
0 [card1 ]: CS461x - Sound Fusion CS461x
                  Sound Fusion CS461x at 0xfc5ff000/0xfc400000, irq 9

# cat pcm

Can someone please point me to relevant docs that would describe how
to configure the thing ? I looked on web but found only docs for older
releases. Thanks in advance!
