Hello! Is there a way to get Quakes to work with sound using ALSA 0.9.rc1? I compiled alsa 0.9.rc1 drivers using: --with-oss=yes --with-soundcards=fm801 --with-sequencer=yes
In alsa doc it is stated, that Quake 2 will crash with segmentation fault, when trying access to /dev/dsp Quake 3 just stops when trying while init-sound. The wierd thing is that Mandrake uses alsa and both quakes worked fine there.
