I would appreciate
some advice on how to resolve a problem on sound after upgrading my
SuSE installation from 7.3 to 8.0 and using ALSA drivers
etc.
The problem
generally is that sound on any application (KWINTV, CD player etc.) would play
for only a minute. There is no sound after a minute unless I generate a
bell sound, either by clicking on the sticky/un-sticky button of the sound
application's window or generate the bell by any other means in any other
window. I would have tired fingers to have continued sound with this
method!
