Would you please explain me what you are talking about? I seem to have exactly the same problem (with line-in, I havent tried microphone yet). It worked *ONCE*, played back recorded wav, then didnt want to record anymore, then stopped even playing back anything. What files are you taling about? What is .asoundrc? What is this long "control" file you are quoting? (yes, I know alsaconf, a*mixer etc.) I am affraid I messed up too much with different versions of alsa... Ufff, 3 days and still not working/// bye Dominique ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Bringing you mounds of caffeinated joy. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
