Hi all, Am I doing something wrong? After installing I can only find the snd-xxxx files (which I understand are for driving the chipsets) and not the snd-card-xxxx files for the cards themselves. I first thought it might be due to my using the --with-cards=ens1371 with the configure script, but without the option the problem persists.
My setup: kernel 2.4.18; alsa-driver-0.9.0rc3; I ran: ./configure --with-kernel=/usr/src/linux-2.4.18 make su make install and then find /lib/modules/2.4.18 -name "snd-card*" returns nothing; same thing in the build directory.
