Hi, I've got a strange problem that I'm hoping someone could help me with.
I've got a SBLive card and am using the ALSA drivers (emu10k1). I get sound, but I randomly get a hissing/popping sound for a few minutes at a time. I'll be listening to some music, crisp and clear, then I'll start hearing hissing in the background. I can turn off all sound and the hissing is still there. After a few minutes I'll hear a final pop and it will go back to normal. Its never regular and happens a few times a day. This never happens in Windows, or when I was using ESD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
