Hallo! Can somebody advise me on my problem with VIA sound on K7VT2 board? The sound chipset is recognized as VIA8233 by opensound driver and plays perfectly. via82xx driver from alsa loads, the information in /proc/asound/cards shows that chipset is recognized as VIA 8233AC chipset. But wherever I try to play anything there is no sound. Yes, I did unmute the channels - I tried different mixers including amixer, but always with the same result. Am I completely out of luck or do I miss something?
