Hello! For anybody interested I finally had some progress with sound on K7VT2 (VIA8233). First I upgraded the bios to version 1.20 and started to get very low sound which was almost impossibly to hear. Then I started to play once again with mixers and after unmuting the *headphone* channel I finally got the sound! But there's still one problem: master control from sound mixers that I'm used to do not change the volume: it can be changed only by headphone control from alsamixer, which is a bit... well, cumbersome to use :-) I investigated the board looking for the jumpers and other sockets - no, no chance to muck up, one chip, one jumper, one socket. And after all - the driver from opensound can be controlled by master volume!
