Here's a question: I am trying to install ALSA on a RH 8.0 system. I have a rather special soundcard (Terratec EWS88MT) that requires some specific config options. When I install from tarballs, RH can't find the alsa files because they get put in the wrong place (I don't know what the right one is) and when I install from RH rpms i don't get the options I need. Any suggestions?
