I
tried installing it now using this guide http://www.linuxorbit.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=541&page=1 I
used the alsa-modules-2.4.16-686 which worked, everything seems ok but it wont start the alsamixer, I get
the error debian:~#
alsamixer /usr/bin/alsamixer-0.9:
error while loading shared libraries: libasound.so.2: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory I
don’t know what I did wrong, I read that I have to install the alsa-lib files, but shouldn’t they have been
installed already? What I tried to do
was download alsa-lib the .9 beta 10 tar from the
website b/c my driver is .9 beta 10 and I ran /.configure but it told me I had
to install the driver first. Any ideas on what to do
about that file? I think im actually
close. |
