Hi again, Maybe I should post to the developers list. Myself and another user (I forget who) have had a problem with memory leaks when running aplay.
I'm willing to do debugging etc... I don't know too much about the ALSA code generally though it's been fairly simple to install. I'm using the snd-es18xx driver. I've ran some simple traces and the aplay.c code seems to do the right thing but still loose 4-8k each time aplay is ran. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
