Has anyone gotten spdif output working with the Audiophile USB? It works with the oss audio.o module, but only at 48 kHz. I can't get any output with snd-usb-audio. I'm running alsa 0.9.6, which I think fixes the bug discussed in an Audiophile USB thread last month.
I also saw the recent thread on spdif input with the Audiophile 2496 pci card. That thread talked about modifying .asoundrc with entries that apparently diddle the card's controls, but my device doesn't show any controls! Doesn't this use the same Envy24 chip as the pci version? And shouldn't I see the same list of controls?
