It seems the Extigy's mixer controls aren't really conforming to the USB Audio Specification. Please try to uncomment the "#define IGNORE_CTL_ERROR" in line 46 of usbmixer.c, and to recompile the driver. And maybe it helps to upgrade your Extigy to the latest firmware version.
