Mysteriously the alsa9 driver of mplayer works here, too with -abs 1 and
-abs 3. the manpage isn't very verbose about this option:


       -abs <value> (OBSOLETE)
              Override audio driver/card buffer size detection, -ao oss
only


Well, as long as it works.. [terratec dmx xfire 1024, cs46xx]
