This is the part I have trouble figuring out.  The IXP 200 (ATI's 9100
IGP Southbridge part) does NOT include sound.  That said, the PCI ID of
the multimedia component has an ATI Vendor ID.  On the other hand the
PCI ID of the network component which IS included in the chipset has a
3Com Vendor ID.  Go figure.

What exactly should I be asking for, and should I be asking ATI or
Asus?  There is clearly some glue logic that is between the IXP 200 and
the AD 1888, but what would it consist of?  Memory addresses, port
addresses, something else?  I'd like to have a clear idea of what I'm
asking for to be sure that I get it.  From the information on the Asus
website and the licensing agreements between ATI and Intel, I suspect
the interface design is very similar to the Intel ICH 5 Southbridge, if
that is any help.
