I'm not going to comment further on this topic, everyone has a preference and
the choice to use whatever suits them. Considering that ALSA is a Linux
system, I assume that most people using it prefer Linux.
I agree. But my point wasn't that Linux should be turned into something else. It's about making Linux mop the floor with everything else. Right now, ALSA looks like a good start. I just suggested some moves that would move it closer to being superior.
