Hi,
I'm getting closer to using the Tascam US428 on RedHat 8.0 with ALSA
1.0.1 on a low-latency 2.4.21 kernel. I've managed to get the Tascam to
show up in /proc/asound/cards and in the list of devices on Audacity. I
even got a 0.5 second burst of sound followed by a complete system
freeze (running Audacity as non-privelged user, low latency not
enabled). Has anyone gotten the Tascam to work for audio? (I don't care
about MIDI at this point). Horror/success stories? Does anyone has an
.asoundrc file that exploits all of the features of the Tascam? Also,
what's the best way to report bugs to developers?

Thanks

Paul M.
