On a debian system, if you're using the debian supplied alsa packages, try:

apt-get --reinstall install alsa-base
(as root)

Hi,

unfortunately I deleted /etc/init.d/alsa on my debian system.
Installing different packages didn't help, so can anyone tell send me his /etc/init.d/alsa (and anything, concerning alsa, that should be in /etc/init.d) ?

regards, sirflow
