Installing different packages didn't help, so can anyone tell send me his /etc/init.d/alsa (and anything, concerning alsa, that should be in /etc/init.d) ?

Usually in initscripts But you need to tell us which OS and version. These things change from
version to version.

The Kernel is 2.4.24, the OS is Debian Woody, upgraded to testing packages. Alsa, i want to install, is 1.0.1
