Hi,

I've got a SEKD Prodif Plus...
All modules were loaded as it's described on the alsa homepage for the
snd-pdplus driver...

When I try to play something, for example with aplay I get the error message:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] no parking]$ aplay Unreality2.wav
Playing WAVE 'Unreality2.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz,
Stereo
aplay: set_params:827: Sample format non available

Playing around with different arguments doesn't solve it.
e.g. aplay -D hw:0Unreality2.wav;
aplay -Ddefault Unreality2.wav

but OSS-emulation works... mpg123 plays nice, so i think the driver is loaded
right.

Any ideas how to fix this?
I read something about a asound.conf and default plugin to load, but
everything I found with google didn't help... perhaps I'd used the wrong
syntax...

Has anayone succesfully installed a SEKD Prodif Plus and kann send me his
asound.conf?

Bye
Sebastian
