Hi all,
I've just moved to kernel version 2.6.4 and I'm having trouble
getting any sound out of this card. In fact, the last time I had
sound working on this card was kernel 2.4.21 with ALSA 0.99.something.
I tried, but never did manage to get it working with later kernels
and ALSA versions. I was hoping this would be fixed when I moved to
kernel 2.6.
ALSA is compiled as a module. The ALSA version is 1.0.2c (standard for
kernel 2.6.4). I'm running envy24control and using aplay to output to
a device specified as:
pcm.spdif_out {
type plug
ttable.0.8.1
ttable.0.9.1
slave.pcm ice1712
}
ctl.spdeif_out {
type hw
card DMX6Fire
}
Anybody got any clues?
