I looked at the codec of my card and it says its:

card0/codec#0 - Realtek ALC660
card0/codec#1 - Generic 1057 ID 3055

..so i set modprobe.conf to:

alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-660 index=0
remove snd-hda-intel { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ;
}; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-hda-intel

After that i installed the patched 1.0.13rc1 drivers and the system
froze while booting - on device initialization. There is no message
displayed on the screen. Should i enable debugging somehow?

The first time i got Oops, i had model=asus, which looking at the codec,
seems to be false. How can i post the log to you, if the bug appears
before the harddisk initialization and no file is written? Is there a
way to store the dumped information?
