Well, its not loaded according to lsmod.
sudo modprobe ctxfi returned
FATAL: Error inserting ctxfi
(/lib/modules/2.6.27-9-generic/kernel/drivers/ssound/ctxfi.ko): Unknown symbol
in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
And /var/log/dmesg reads something like the following:
[ 13.810859] ctxfi: disagrees about version of symbol snd_ctl_add
[ 13.810862] ctxfi: Unknown symbol snd_ctl_add
[ 13.810921] ctxfi: disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_new
[ 13.810923] ctxfi: Unknown symbol snd_pcm_new
[...continues for about 30 lines]
I've crossed the line from where I understand very little to where I understand
nothing at all. Any ideas?
